14-year-old Wounded during Ruscomb Street Double Shooting

Investigators mark ballistic evidence on the front lawn of house at N. 10th Street and Ruscomb Street in the Logan section of Philadelphia on Friday June 20, 2014, after a man and a young teen were wounded when a gunman opened fire. According to police at 5:29 p.m. a man began firing a handgun west down Ruscomb Street at an unknown target but striking a 14-year-old boy once in the left leg, when police arrived on scene they rushed the boy to Albert Einstein Medical Center where he was placed in stable condition. Police said a short time later a 27-year-old man arrived at Einstein with a gunshot wound to his left leg stating he was wounded by the gunfire on Ruscomb Street.
