Eight people were shot in the span of three hours beginning late Saturday night in Philadelphia. A fatal Sunday afternoon shooting bought the weekend total to 16 people shot .

Fatal shooting in West Oak Lane:

Police rushed a shooting victim to Einstein Medical Center following an incident reported late Sunday afternoon in the West Oak Lane section of Philadelphia, but the victim did not survive. He had been struck multiple times on 69th Avenue, between Ogontz Avenue and North 19th Street around 4:45 p.m.

Man killed early Sunday:

Police hold the scene after a fatal shooting outside the Galaxy Lounge early Sunday, at Germantown Avenue and Rising Sun Avenue in the Franklinville section of Philadelphia. Officers rushed a 24-year-old man to Temple University Hospital but he was pronounced dead a short time later.

Teen wounded in Oxford Circle shooting:

Police investigate the scene after a 17-year-old was shot twice, shortly before midnight Saturday on McKinley Street, near Devereaux and Castor Avenues in the Oxford Circle section of Philadelphia. He was listed in stable condition at the Aria Health Frankford Campus.

Critically wounded man walks into hospital:

A 23-year-old shooting victim was listed in critical condition with an abdominal wound after he walked into Temple University Hospital late Saturday night. He had been shot around 11:15 p.m. on North 8th Street near Indiana Avenue in the Fairhill section of North Philadelphia.

Teen killed, another wounded; police vehicle struck:

Police investigate the crime scene after two teens were shot around 11:15 p.m. Saturday on West Montgomery Avenue near North 8th Street in the Ludlow section of North Philadelphia:

Police rushed a 16-year-old victim to Temple University Hospital, but he did not survive. A wounded 19-year-old man was in critical condition, according to police at the scene.

Gunfire struck one police vehicle during the incident but no officers were injured:

Two men wounded in Olney

Neighbors looked on as police investigated the scene when where two man were shot around 11:15 p.m. Saturday on North American Street, near Tabor Road and North 2nd Street in the Olney section of Philadelphia.

Medics rushed an 18-year-old man who had been shot in the back to Einstein Medical Center, where he was listed in critical condition. A 38-year-old man who arrived at Einstein in a private vehicle was listed in stable condition with a leg wound.

A 32-year-old man was listed in stable condition at Temple University Hospital after he was shot around 10:30 p.m. Saturday on North Marvine Street, near West Courtland and North 12th Streets in the Logan section of Philadelphia.

A 33-year-old man was listed in stable condition at Temple University Hospital after he was shot in the chest just after 2 a.m. Saturday on Jasper Street near Castor Avenue in the Frankford section of Philadelphia.

Police rushed a 23-year-old man to Temple University Hospital, where he was listed in critical condition after a shooting around 1:20 a.m. Saturday on Lehigh Avenue near North 27th Street in North philadelphia.

Update: Double shooting in Cedarbrook:

A 24-year-old man was reported stable at Einstein Medical Center after he was shot several times around 7:30 p.m. Friday in the area of East Sharpnack Street and Temple Road in the Cedarbrook section of East Mount Airy. The wounded man was struck in an arm and a leg and grazed on his neck.

According to a report from 6ABC, authorities later received a call from Chestnut Hill Hospital about a man in his 30s who had suffered a graze wound above his left eye during the same incident, adding that he was listed in stable condition: http://ow.ly/yiaZd
