A 20-year-old man was listed in stable condition at Temple University Hospital after he was shot around 10:20 p.m. Wednesday on West Lycoming Street near Old York Road in the Hunting Park section of Philadelphia.

Police rushed a 23-year-old man to the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania, where he was listed in stable condition after he was shot in the hip around 12:30 p.m. Wednesday on South 18th Street near Wharton Street in the Point Breeze section of South Philadelphia.

Media reports: Delaware State Trooper wounded

A 26-year-old Delaware State Trooper was shot and a suspect was killed during an exchange of gunfire early Wednesday in Magnolia, Kent County, according to media reports.

Police rushed a 36-year-old man to Temple University Hospital, where he was listed in critical condition after he was shot several times, shortly before 9 a.m. Wednesday on North 32nd Street near West Huntingdon Street in the Strawberry Mansion section of Philadelphia.

First alert:

No shooting victims were reported in Philadelphia overnight, but we are working on an updated report from the shooting which wounded two teens Tuesday night in South Philadelphia.

Media reports indicate that a Delaware State Trooper has been wounded in a shooting this morning.

Also according to media reports: Police have arrested the second suspect wanted in connection with two recent robberies outside Philadelphia shooting ranges, including one incident in which one of the victims was shot and critically wounded.
