Sleeping teen wounded by stray bullet in South Jersey overnight

A 13-year-old girl was reported in stable condition after she was struck by a stray bullet while sleeping in her home early Monday in Sicklerville, NJ, about 25 miles southeast of Philadelphia.

6ABC identified the victim as Tiya Hudson. She was taken to Cooper University Hospital in Camden with non-life threatening injuries, according to CBS3.

Investigators said they found 11 shell casings at the nearby intersection of Hathaway Drive and Hawthorne Lane, according to NBC10Fox29 also had a video report from the scene.
