Man wounded in Olney

Medics rushed a 27-year-old man to Einstein Medical Center after he as shot in the ankle just after 10 p.m. Tuesday on East Tabor Road near Rising Sun Avenue in the Olney section of the city.

Man wounded in Powelton

Shortly after 1 a.m., a 26-year-old man was shot once in his right leg near 42nd street and Baring Street in the Powelton section West Philadelphia and was transported to Mercy Philadelphia Hospital where he was placed in stable condition.

Armed Home Invasion

Philadelphia police report that not long after midnight, two armed men entered a house on Jackson Street in the Frankford neighborhood on Philadelphia. A cellphone, $300 and sneakers were taken. Police report no injuries.

Man shot three times

At 12:36 a.m., a 28-year-old man was brought into Einstein Medical Center suffering three bullet wounds. He was placed in critical condition. The scene of the shooting is unknown.

Two men shot multiple times

Two men were wounded by gunfire on Kendrick Street near Torresdale Avenue in the Upper Holmesburg section of Philadelphia. According to police, when officers were called to the location shortly after 12:30a.m., they found two 32-year-old men suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. Police said they located at least 17 fired shell casing at the scene. The victims encountered the gunman in the street, but were shot as they attempted to flee into a house. Both men were rushed to Aria Health Torresdale Campus, where they are listed in critical condition. Several bullets were fired toward the house, where a baby was sleeping. The baby was carried safely from the house after the gunfire.
