Two people were killed and three more were wounded in a little more than two hours Wednesday night in Philadelphia. The outbreak left one man and a teenage boy dead, and two men and one woman wounded.
Three separate shootings took place in South Philadelphia, and additional incidents were reported in the Germantown and Tioga sections of the city.
In the first incident, police rushed a 20-year-old man to Temple University Hospital, where he was listed in critical condition after he was shot several times around 9 p.m. Wednesday night on North 17th Street near West Ontario Street in the Tioga section of the city.
Next, police rushed a 19-year-old man to the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania, where he was listed in stable condition after he was shot in the thigh around 9:40 p.m. Wednesday on Snyder Avenue near South Dorrance Street, in the Girard Park section of South Philadelphia.
A teenage boy was shot to death around 10:15 p.m. on South 21st Street near Dickinson Street in the Point Breeze section of South Philadelphia.

Police rushed a 42-year-old woman to Temple University Hospital, where she was listed in stable condition after she was shot in the chest around 11:15 p.m. Wednesday on Abbottsford Avenue near Wayne Avenue in the Germantown section of Philadelphia.
In the latest incident, a shooting victim was pronounced dead at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania shortly after he was struck three times in the head late Wednesday night in South Philadelphia. This incident took place around 11:15 p.m. on Manton Street, near 25th and Federal Streets in the King Village area.
