A 28-year-old man was fatally wounded in a shooting reported around 12:30 a.m. Saturday in the area of North 26th and Nicholas Streets, near Cecil B. Moore Avenue in North Philadelphia. Police rushed the victim to Temple University Hospital but he did not survive.
Responding officers found the victim in a car, according to CBS3. NBC10 reported that he had been shot numerous times while it was was still moving. Police say the car went two blocks before crashing into another vehicle, according to a 6ABC report.
Update: Police said a 19-year-old woman was shot in the calf during the same incident, according to a report from philly.com.
