Ariel Helwani reports that Robert Whittaker will face Luke Rockhold at FC 221 on Feb. 10 in Perth, Western Australia.

For the title, this is with champion Georges St-Pierre not returning for the middleweight division per TSN.
Whittaker (19-4) headsi into his first title defence off an eight battle win streak, including a unanimous decision win over Yoel Romero in UFC 213 where he captured the interim middleweight title. The 26-year-old has completed two of the last three opponents. Rockhold (16-3) is coming off a stoppage victory over David Branch in UFC Fight Night 116. Strikeforce champion and the UFC has won half of his last seven fights. .
Stipe Miocic vs. Francis Ngannou set for UFC 220
MMAJunkie broke the news that heavyweight champion Stipe Miocic will confront Francis Ngannou at UFC 220 on Jan. 20 in TD Garden in Boston.
Miocic (17-2) is currently riding a five-fight win series including a first-round TKO victory over Junior Dos Santos at UFC 211 back in May. The 35-year-old has won eight of the last nine fights. Ngannou (11-1) has stayed undefeated in the UFC and conquered Alistair Overeem final weekend at UFC 218 by first-round knockout. The 31-year-old hasn’t lost a fight.
