According to media reports, a police SWAT team shot and killed a gunman who was holding two hostages in an apartment house in Hialeah, Florida early Saturday morning. Officials say that he had already killed six people in and around the building Friday night.
Mass shooting breaks out at Mother’s Day parade in New Orleans
Two adults and three children were found dead with apparent multiple gunshot wounds at a house near Albuquerque, NM, on Saturday evening. The incident comes just days after President Barack Obama outlined his plan to curb America’s culture of gun violence, following the massacre last month of 20 children and six adults at an elementary school in Newtown, Connecticut.
