Double shooting brings Monday morning total to six wounded in Philadelphia

Two men were wounded, one critically, in a shooting incident Monday morning on North Avondale Street, between Race Street and 64th Street in West Philadelphia. A 24-year-old victim was listed in critical condition at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania with head, chin and leg wounds.

The second man, a 23-year-old, was shot twice and reported stable at HUP. The incident took place around 10:20 a.m., according to a brief report from CBSPhilly.

Four men were wounded in separate shootings we reported earlier Monday morning in the Juniata Park, Oak Lane, Ogontz and West Oak Lane sections of Philadelphia.

As we previously reported, three people were killed and 10 more were wounded — three critically — in shooting incidents reported during the weekend in Philadelphia.
