Customer shot twice after intervening in South Philadelphia grocery store robbery Monday night

Children watched as snow fell while police held the crime scene following a shooting and attempted robbery at the Koh Kong Grocery Store on the 2200 block of South 7th Street in South Philadelphia Monday night. CBS3 reported that, according to investigators, an armed suspect entered the store and announced a robbery, at which point a regular customer who was inside the store tried to stop the robbery and became engaged in a struggle with the suspect, during which the suspect shot the customer twice; once in the head and once in the leg.
