New shooting victim reported in Juniata Park

Medics rushed a critically wounded 21-year-old man to Temple University Hospital after he was shot in the neck, shortly before 6 p.m. Thursday on Neilson Street near East Bristol Street and Castor Avenue in the Juanita Park section of Philadelphia. One man was killed in a shooting reported Tuesday in Juniata Park.

Man wounded in Overbrook

A wounded 25-year-old man was listed in stable condition Wednesday night after he arrived at Lankenau Hospital, just outside Philadelphia in Wynnewood, Pa. He was shot on Lansdowne Avenue near 62nd Street in the Overbrook section of Philadelphia, shortly before 10 p.m.

Seven shootings were reported in Philadelphia between Tuesday afternoon and early Wednesday morning, as we previously reported. We have found no other media reports addressing any of the last five Philadelphia shooting incidents.

Young man critically wounded in overnight shooting

An 18-year-old man was listed in critical condition at Temple University Hospital after he was shot around 2:30 a.m. Sunday on West Tioga Street near Rising Sun Avenue in the Franklinville section of North Philadelphia.

Police said he was shot in the head, according to CBS3. Officials told 6ABC that the young man was sitting in a car when he was struck. NBC10 spotted the shattered windows on the car which brought the victim to the hospital.

Three more men were wounded, one critically, in Philadelphia shootings reported between Friday night and early Saturday, as we previously reported.

Second man shot Monday in Eastwick; critically wounded

Police rushed a shooting victim to the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania, where he was listed in critical condition after an incident reported late Monday afternoon near the Patterson Elementary School on Holbrook Street, near Elmwood Avenue and 70th Street in the Eastwick section of Southwest Philadelphia. The victim — estimated to be in his 20s — was struck twice shortly before 5 p.m.

As we reported earlier, an 18-year-old man was shot in the foot just after 1 a.m. Monday on Glenmore Avenue near Island Avenue in Eastwick. Medics rushed him to HUP, where he was listed in stable condition. We have found no media reports addressing either Eastwick incident.

No other shooting victims have been reported in the city since Sunday night incidents left one man dead and a teen wounded. Altogether, two men were killed and ten people were wounded in shootings reported across Philadelphia during the weekend.
