Medics pronounced a 47-year-old man dead at the scene after he was shot in the head around 8 a.m. Tuesday in a driveway on South 59th Street near Greenway Avenue in Southwest Philadelphia.
As we previously reported, two men were wounded — one crticially — in separate shooting incidents reported Monday in the Eastwick section of Southwest Philadelphia.
In the latest incident, a 26-year-old man was shot in the leg shortly before 9 a.m. Monday on Mutter Street, near West Berks and North Hancock Streets in North Philadelphia.
The latest victim is the fourth man wounded since weekend shootings left two men dead and 10 more wounded in Philadelphia.
Police rushed a shooting victim to the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania, where he was listed in critical condition after an incident reported late Monday afternoon near the Patterson Elementary School on Holbrook Street, near Elmwood Avenue and 70th Street in the Eastwick section of Southwest Philadelphia. The victim — estimated to be in his 20s — was struck twice shortly before 5 p.m.
As we reported earlier, an 18-year-old man was shot in the foot just after 1 a.m. Monday on Glenmore Avenue near Island Avenue in Eastwick. Medics rushed him to HUP, where he was listed in stable condition. We have found no media reports addressing either Eastwick incident.
No other shooting victims have been reported in the city since Sunday night incidents left one man dead and a teen wounded. Altogether, two men were killed and ten people were wounded in shootings reported across Philadelphia during the weekend.
A 19-year-old man was listed in stable condition at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania after he was shot in the hand around 7 p.m. Tuesday on South Yewdall Terrace, near Lindbergh Boulevard and South 54th Street in Southwest Philadelphia.
Shortly after 9 p.m., a 40-year-old man was shot in the head while riding in a car on North Franklin Street, near 7th and Clearfield Streets in the Fairhill section of the city. Police rushed him to Temple University Hospital, where he was listed in stable condition.
Update: A 24-year-old man was also reported stable at Temple after suffering a hand wound during the same incident.
Latest: A 19-year-old man was listed in stable condition at Einstein Medical Center after he was shot in the leg around 10:30 p.m. Tuesday in the area of Belfield and Wister Streets in Logan.
Seven people had been shot — three fatally — during incidents reported over the past 24 hours in the Castor, Eastwick, Logan, North Philadelphia and Pascahll neighborhoods.
An armed home invasion was being investigated Tuesday night in the Cresecentville section of of the city.
A 23-year-old man died after he was shot multiple times around 1:30 p.m. Wednesday on South 60th Street near Greenway Avenue in the Eastwick section of Southwest Philadelphia.
Police rushed the victim to the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania, but he was pronounced dead a short time later, having suffered gunshot wounds to the head, neck and torso. He was struck while sitting in his car, according to 6ABC.
Another man was killed and two women were wounded in shooting incidents reported overnight in North Philadelphia and in the Logan section of the city.
A 20-year-old man was listed in stable condition at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania after he was shot in the leg around 9:30 p.m. Wednesday on Island Avenue near Elmwood and West Passyunk Avenues in the Eastwick section of Southwest Philadelphia.

Between Friday afternoon and Sunday night, 14 shooting victims were reported in Philadelphia, including one teen and two women. One man was killed and five more victims were initially reported in critical condition.
